I am a freelance copyeditor with nearly ten years of experience in academia and publishing as well as in teaching college-level writing and rhetoric. My editing work has encompassed indexing book manuscripts, copyediting page proofs for academic journals, and transcription. I have also served as an editor for a preeminent journal in my field.
